H+H Cologne 2019

 In Julia on trip, News

On March, 29, 30 and 31 we participated, for the second time, in the HHCologne fair.

H+H Cologne is the most important fair in the sector of handerbashery and handycrefts for sure in Europe but also in the world. The yarn industry is one of the most important at the fair and the main brands of wool worldwide are present. H+H occuppies 2 pavilions of 2 floors of Koelnmesse, which is the entire fairground. The whole fairground is immense, I think it has 11 pavilions of incredible dimensions. I must confess that last year we got lost among the pavilions! Hahaha. This year we were better, we are not so novices! 🙂

Our stand was like the last year one and was at the same place. It has just a wall at the back and it’s open by three sides. We thought we could place a very big poster on the back wall and “hang” our yarn balls on some sticks with chains on the sides and some of them on the front. The final result was a nice stand, very functional, organized and attractive.

This was the assembling process:

On the bootm we place some knitted and crochetted clothes. I would like to thank to the knitters who worked for us and borrow us those wonderful clothes:

PearlKnitter knitted this wonderful shawl with  ARTcotton, our handdyied cotton hanks. I’ll give you more good news about this shawl soon!

This is the “The Moon that danced with the waves” shawl, designed by Siona from Laboresenred. She gave us the 3 shawls knitted by her testers. A special thanks to all! This shawl is knitted with CUORE, and the pattern is free and available here.

This amazing sweater is also knitted with  CUORE  by our friend Artile. Thank you so much!

Special thanks also to TRIKOTEM who crocheted this beautiful shawl with ARTcotton 🙂

Thanks also to Mari Carmen, Assumpta, Rosa, Genny, Josefina and Cristina, your clothes were very useful for us!

This is a summary of some visitors we had during the fair.

We had not so many time to visit other stands but we walk thought the halls in order to learn, to see trends, different working ways, to meet other yarn producers and looking for  growthing as a company.

That is all! Soon more news!
